About Us

 

The Lake Mahopac Park District Advisory Committee is a group of individuals appointed by the Carmel Town Board to advise the board on issues that pertain to the health and safety of the lake.  Committee activities  include the monitoring of the lake water quality, liasoning with the Carmel Police, the Auxiliary Coast Guard and coordinating with surrounding Lakes through the NY Federation of Lake Associations and the Department of Environmental Conservation.
